And you all have been favoring my cocktail recipes. My husband has been enjoying his nightly scotch or bourbon.
I’ve been enjoying more evening wine or cocktails than I probably should. The rest doesn’t matter so much right now.īut I can tell it’s been a tough time for everyone. What’s most important is that we stay safe and healthy. We’re doing what we can, trying to balance all the different pieces and cutting each other (and ourselves) some slack. I worked for part of those 6 weeks while my husband has been attempting to work full-time from home, all the while we’ve been providing full-time child care and part-time teaching for our two children, the latter with no real guidance from the school system until this week. We’re going on 6 weeks of social distancing slash shelter at home now. This Aperol Grapefruit Margarita combines tart grapefruit, bitter orange Aperol and tequila in a cocktail delicious for brunch or Mexican night.
